We know leaving your furry friend with someone else can feel nerve-wracking, so we’ve put together answers to the questions we get most often. Our goal is to give you peace of mind while your pup has a tail-wagging good time!

  • 1. What ages or breeds of dogs do you accept?

    All breeds are welcome at Ike N Lulu’s! 🐾 Dogs 4 months and up who meet our health, temperament, and social requirements are invited to join the fun.

  • 2. What vaccines are required?

    To keep all our pups safe and healthy, dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, and Leptospirosis. If your dog has a medical exception, just reach out before booking—we’re happy to chat and help! 🐾💛

  • 3. How do you handle dogs that don’t get along with others?

    At Ike N Lulu’s, every dog starts with a trial day so we can get to know your pup and make sure we’re the right fit for their needs. After the trial, dogs are carefully grouped by size, temperament, and play style, with all playtime lovingly supervised to keep everyone safe, happy, and having fun. 🐾💛


  • 4. Do you have separate play areas for different sizes or energy levels?

    Yes! We offer two indoor rooms and three outdoor play spaces, thoughtfully designed for small, medium, and large dogs, as well as for both high-energy and low-energy pups. This allows every dog to play, relax, and socialize in a space that feels just right for them. 🐾💛

  • 5. What is a typical day like at daycare?

    Your pup’s day at Ike N Lulu’s is all about play, comfort, and love—supervised fun, yummy treats, relaxing naps, and plenty of cuddles along the way. 🐶❤️

  • 6. Are meals or treats provided? Can I bring my dog’s own food?

    We provide a variety of tasty treats, always keeping your dog’s allergies and sensitivities in mind. For meals, please bring your dog’s food along—just be sure to clearly label instructions and portions so we can serve it exactly as you like. 🐾💛

  • 7. What is the procedure if my dog gets sick or injured?

    Your pup’s safety is our top priority. 

    Our staff always supervise playtime and closely monitor interactions, addressing any issues right away. 

    If your pup ever becomes sick or injured, we’ll contact you immediately and, if needed, coordinate with your veterinarian to make sure your furry friend gets the best care. 🐾💛

  • 8. Are there cameras or updates so I can see my dog?

    While we don’t have live cameras, we love keeping you in the loop! 🐾 We share photos, videos, and updates throughout the day directly to your phone or email, and often post adorable moments on our social media.

  • 9. Do I need to bring my dog’s bed, toys, or bowls?

    Don’t worry—we’ve got it all covered! 🐾 Your pup will have cozy beds, clean bowls, and plenty of fun toys to play and cuddle. 


    If your pup feels more comfortable with a favorite toy, blanket, or even an old t-shirt from home, we’ll make sure they have it with them at all times.

  • 10. Do you offer boarding and daycare during holidays?

    Yes! For boarding, we welcome holiday bookings with no extra fees—just be sure to reserve ahead so we can save your pup’s spot. A $65 deposit is required (non-refundable if canceled less than a week before).


    Since we’re a small boutique with limited capacity, daycare services are closed during major holidays like Spring Break, Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, so our team can also enjoy the season with their own furry friends. 🐾💛
